St. Mark’s Episcopal Day school  provides a Christian environment for self-expression and joyful learning designed to foster self-confidence in children.  All teachers are degreed professionals, many of whom have been with the school for more than 5 years.

St. Mark’s offers exciting and flexible programs and hours designed to accommodate busy family schedules.  Our curriculum supports the healthy growth – mentally, physically, and spiritually - of children.  We welcome you to visit our beautiful campus, please see the Contact Us page for information regarding preschool tours.

We offer classes for 2 year olds, 3 year olds, and pre-kindergarten. Registration opens to the public in March. Children must be at least 2 years old by September 1st of the year they begin the school year. St. Mark’s academic calendar generally follows that of the Austin Independent School District.

Mission:

St. Mark’s Episcopal Day School’s creative environment allows pre-school children to live their lives to the fullest of their potential and to develop a genuine sense of self-worth. Our school is a Christian environment where children are allowed to develop the gifts and talents which God has given them.

Message from Rev. Elizabeth Zarelli Turner, Rector:

St. Mark’s Day School is a Parish day school that was founded by St. Mark’s Episcopal Church in 1963.  In the intervening years St. Mark’s has continued to see the Day School as part of the mission and ministry of the parish community.  It is the mission of the St. Mark’s Day School to nurture the spiritual, intellectual, physical, emotional, and social development of children ranging in age from 2 years old to pre-kindergarten.  Read more of Rev. Elizabeth's message.
